BONSAI VERSUS JAPANESE GARDEN PRUNING: A series of classes in gardening are being held at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga. One in pruning will be held by Randall Lee from 10 a.m to noon Saturday at 21000 Big Basin Way in Saratoga. Registration is $25 and #30 at the door. Parking is free with registration.
